Privacy policy

Short, because we do not do much with your information. We use it to quote your job and to reach you about it.

Last updated 21 August 2026.

Who we are

Pacific Homes & Construction, LLC — a licensed general contractor on Guam, licence CLB22-1786. Owner: Matt Kahler. You can reach us on 671 683-8332 or at mattatphandc@gmail.com.

What the estimate form collects

When you send the form on our contact page we store what you typed, and two things your browser sends with it:

  • Your name, so we know who we are talking to.
  • Your phone number and email address, so we can reply.
  • Your village, because it decides scheduling and travel on this island.
  • Your timeline and the type of work, so the estimate is realistic.
  • Your message, exactly as you wrote it.
  • The page you sent it from, so we know what you were looking at.
  • Your IP address and browser user agent. These are kept for one reason: to block automated spam. They are not used to profile you and are not shared.

Nothing is required beyond a name, one way to contact you, and the message. If you would rather not fill in a form, call or text 671 683-8332.

What we do with it

It is emailed to the owner and any staff who handle enquiries, and it is saved on this website so a request cannot be lost in an inbox. We use it to prepare your estimate and to talk to you about your job. That is all.

Sending the form is how you ask us to call or message you about that enquiry, on the number you gave us. We do not add you to a marketing list, and we stop contacting you the moment you ask.

We do not sell it, rent it, or trade it. We do not send marketing email. If we ever need to share something with a supplier or subcontractor to quote your job accurately, we will tell you first.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while they are useful — an estimate you asked for last year is context if you call again. Ask us to delete yours and we will remove it, and confirm when it is done.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets two cookies, both of which exist to make the estimate form work and nothing else:

  • A session cookie, which remembers your visit long enough for the form to be submitted.
  • A security token (XSRF-TOKEN), which proves the form was submitted from this site and not forged by another one.

Both last two hours and neither follows you anywhere. There is no advertising cookie, no analytics cookie, and nothing that identifies you between visits.

There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no third-party tracker, and no content loaded from another company's servers. Every font, script and stylesheet on this site is served from this domain. Nobody else learns that you visited.

If you message us on WhatsApp

The site offers WhatsApp as a way to send photographs, because a text message compresses them past the point of being useful for an estimate. WhatsApp is run by Meta, not by us: if you message us there, your phone number and whatever you send pass through their service under their privacy policy (opens in a new tab), not this one. Nothing on this website contacts WhatsApp unless you tap the link yourself.

If you would rather not use it, email or call — the same photographs are just as welcome that way.

Photographs of your job

Before-and-after photos are how a contractor shows their work, and ours are all real jobs. We only publish photos of your property with your say-so, and we will take them down if you change your mind — call or email and it is done.

How to see, correct or delete your information

Email mattatphandc@gmail.com or call 671 683-8332 and tell us what you want done. There is no form to fill in for this. We will act on it and confirm.

Children

This site is for people arranging construction work. We do not knowingly collect anything from children.

Which law applies

Pacific Homes & Construction, LLC operates on Guam, a territory of the United States, and this policy is governed by the laws of Guam and the applicable federal law of the United States. If you are contacting us from somewhere with stronger privacy rights than Guam gives you, tell us what you want done with your information and we will do it — we would rather honour the request than argue about jurisdiction.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. We do not make changes retroactive to information already collected.
