The original elevation was tired and the entry sat in the wrong place. We relocated the stair entrance, extended the balcony and rebuilt the front of the house.

A long, narrow bathroom rebuilt sleek and understated: a floating double vanity, a curbless shower with a linear drain, and large-format tile throughout.

A carport and laundry bay on bare columns

An overgrown side yard with a row of concrete column stubs already standing. We poured the slab, set the steel purlin roof on those columns, painted the wall and ran the laundry hookups.

A sagging tarp on a pipe frame, over a cracked slab. We widened and repoured the slab and set a galvanised steel truss frame with a metal roof on it.

Kitchen gutted and opened to the living room

A tight, dated kitchen closed off behind a wall. We gutted it, opened the wall into the living room and built a cedar-clad breakfast bar with a granite top across the new arch.

Dark woodgrain cabinets, a laminate top and stained square floor tile came out. Maple shaker cabinets, granite, stainless appliances and a diagonal wood-look tile floor went back.
